Our Learning Corner is full of opportunities to grow this week! Through our monthly theme, “Safe, Healthy, Helpful Me,” we’re helping children discover ways to care for themselves and be helpful to others.
Our Preschool, PreK, and toddler children are building on their Spanish lesson, “Pets Are Family—Las Mascotas son Familia,” practicing perros (dogs), gatos (cats), peces (fish), and conejos (rabbits).
During Bible Time, our toddlers are learning that God keeps us safe and provides for our needs, guided by Matthew 6:8: “For your Father knows exactly what you need even before you ask him.”
Our Preschool and PreK children are discovering that God gave the rainbow as a sign of His promise, through Genesis 9:13: “I have placed my rainbow in the clouds. It is the sign of my covenant with you and with all the earth."
We’re also exploring rectangles, the color black, the numbers 4 and 5, and the letters Pp, Nn, and Cc.
It’s a joy to watch these lessons come to life as children practice new words, notice shapes around them, and show kindness to their friends!
