Our “Safe, Healthy, Helpful Me” theme is helping children explore how we care for ourselves and help those around us. We continue to explore rectangles, the color black, the numbers 4 and 5, and the letters Pp, Nn, and Cc.
In Spanish, our toddlers, preschoolers, and PreK children are learning about community workers—trabajadores de la comunidad. We’re introducing words for police officers (policía), firefighters (bombero), teachers (maestra), doctors (doctor), and nurses (enfermera). These lessons provide a wonderful opportunity to talk about the people who help keep our communities safe and healthy!
During Bible Time, our toddlers are learning the Isaiah verse, “I will answer them before they call me” (Isaiah 65:24 NLT). Our preschool and PreK children are learning how God called Abram to move to a new land, reminding us that we can trust God as we try new things and enter unfamiliar places. Their verse, “I will always trust in God’s love” (Psalm 52:8 NLT), reinforces this message.
You can extend these lessons at home by spotting rectangles, practicing letter sounds, or naming community helpers you see together. Thank you for partnering with us as your children learn and grow!
