We welcome, October! This month brings opportunities to explore changing leaves, cooler weather, and the colors, textures, and smells of autumn. Through stories, songs, creative play, and hands-on activities, we’ll encourage the curiosity and wonder that October brings to all of us!

Learning Corner Themes
Toddler, Preschool & Pre-K

Our Preschool, PreK, and toddler children are continuing their Spanish lessons with “Pets Are Family—Las Mascotas son Familia.” They’re learning perros (dogs), gatos (cats), peces (fish), and conejos (rabbits).
Our toddlers are continuing to make joyful music with egg shakers and rhythm sticks, exploring sound, rhythm, and movement.
During Bible Time, our toddlers are learning Philippians 4:13 reminding them, “For I can do everything through Christ, who gives me strength.”
Our Preschool and PreK children are learning that God takes care of us in scary times, guided by Psalm 56:3: “But when I am afraid, I will put my trust in you.”
We love watching our children grow in language, creativity, and faith as they learn about the families—and pets—who fill their lives with love!

Picture Retake Opportunity
|
Picture Retake Day is Tuesday, October 6. Children who missed Picture Week or need to have their photo retaken will have the opportunity to be photographed that day.
As a reminder, the photographer has asked for feedback. Consider taking a few moments to complete the survey below.

TKS Fall Festival is Almost Here!
|
Join us for our annual Fall Festival on Friday, October 9th from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM at The Kid’s Studio! We have a fantastic evening of seasonal festivities planned for the whole family to enjoy, including:
- Cake Walk
- Hay Ride
- Bean Bag Toss
- Face Painting
- Crafts
- Treasure Hunt in the Corn
- And many more fun games and treats!
Supplies for the classroom activities are provided by TKS, but your additional contributions are greatly appreciated! We kindly request donations of nut-free candy or fall-themed party supplies to support our event. Please place your donated items in the designated drop box located in the lobby. Thank you in advance for your generosity and support!
